Ninja Trials

Obstacle courses built around the people playing them.

Something to do, not something to watch. Rent the equipment. Bring in our crew. Train your own. Or let us design the experience around your space.

The alternative

Not a bouncy castle. Not a carnival stall.

Both have their place. Neither gives anyone a reason to come back.

  • The activity

    Bouncy castle
Bounce until it stops being new.
    Carnival games
Pay for a try at a game of chance.
    Ninja Trials
Attempt a challenge, adjust it, attempt it again.
  • Who it fits

    Bouncy castle
One age and size at a time.
    Carnival games
    Anyone can queue; few win.
    Ninja Trials
Levels for different ages, heights and confidence.
  • The adults

    Bouncy castle
    Watch from the side.
    Carnival games
    Watch the queue.
    Ninja Trials
    Play too.
  • Why it ends

    Bouncy castle
    It stops being new.
    Carnival games
The prize wasn't worth the queue.
    Ninja Trials
    You decide you've had enough.
  • What stays

    Bouncy castle
    A photo.
    Carnival games
    A small toy.
    Ninja Trials
    The attempt you finally made.

How do you want to play?

  4. 04Designed system

    Build the right challenge.

A course or recurring programme designed around your people and place.

We shape selection, sequence, difficulty, retries, scoring, visibility and flow around the brief.

    Built to brief

The right challenge

The hardest course isn’t always the best course.

We adjust the challenge so the next attempt feels possible—but still worth making.

Younger players

  • Lower routes
  • Simple transitions
  • Confidence-building attempts

Teens & young adults

  • Speed or timing
  • Progression
  • Choice of challenge

Adults & teams

  • Clear entry points
  • Shared objectives
  • Different roles and strengths

Mixed groups

  • Parallel levels
  • Team contribution
  • Ways to play without equal strength

Flow is part of the design

What happens between the obstacles matters too.

Queues, sightlines, staffing, resets and safe entry and exit sit beneath every attempt.

A few practical questions.

How much does Ninja Trials cost in Singapore?

Dry lease starts from S$800. Facilitated Ninja Trials starts from S$1,500 and includes facilitation, insurance and expert support. The final scope depends on equipment, venue, operating time and the experience you need.

Can I rent individual Ninja Trials obstacles?

Yes, where equipment is available and the proposed site and operating plan are suitable. Tell us what you need and who will run it.

Can Storyworlds provide people to run the course?

Yes. A facilitated activation includes the people needed to brief participants, manage attempts and keep the agreed course flowing.

Can you train our team to run Ninja Trials?

Yes. The one-day OMC-F develops practical foundations for setting up, supervising, scaling and facilitating obstacle movement. The two-day OMC-A goes deeper into movement mechanics, coaching intention and obstacle design.

Is Ninja Trials only for children?

No. Courses can be adapted around age, height, confidence, ability and the purpose of the event. Operational limits are confirmed for the chosen setup.

Is this a replacement for a bouncy castle or carnival games?

It is an alternative rather than a replacement. A bouncy castle or carnival stall suits a quick, passive moment. Ninja Trials is built around attempts — people choose a challenge, have a go, adjust and go again. That is what keeps a crowd returning to the same spot.

Can you create a Ninja obstacle course for a school or team event?

Yes. Share the people, venue, timetable and objective. We can propose equipment-only hire, a facilitated activation or a course designed to brief.

How much space do I need?

It depends on obstacle selection, access, operating areas, queues and flow. Send dimensions, a floor plan or venue photographs if you have them.

What certificate will I receive?

OMC-F is a Storyworlds-issued foundational certificate. It is not a government accreditation. Sport Singapore assesses NREP applications and prevailing requirements; acceptance is not automatic or guaranteed.
